Suneet Varma

One of India’s foremost couturiers, Suneet Varma is a name that immortalizes glamour and timeless style. After getting his design education in Europe, he worked with designers Nicole Farhi and Yves Saint Laurent before starting his own label.

Suneet’s associations with International brands make him a designer whose forte goes beyond dimensions. Appointed as the international designer for Judith Leiber in 2007, his Swarovski encrusted Minaudières are a regular on the red carpet. He is also the face of BMW motors in India.

Essentially a costume designer, Suneet received great recognition in styling Bollywood movies, including an Oscar nomination for ‘Monsoon Wedding’.

In 2005, he was invited to showcase his collection at the Milan and Rome Fashion week. He has also done shows in London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Berlin and Los Angeles along with a presentation for the World Economic forum at Davos.

Retailing exclusively in Delhi, Suneet Varma’s collections are also featured in different multi designer stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Chandigarh. Popular amongst the elite upper class, he has been chosen to dress NRI families for weddings and special occasions, like the prestigious Lakshmi Mittal wedding in Paris and shipping tycoon Chellaram’s wedding function in Vienna. In 2001 and subsequently in 2005 he was invited to The World Economic Forum to showcase his collection for the business community at Davos.
