Art-A-Thon 2017 at Phoenix Marketcity Pune

3rd - 9th April 2017, 12.pm to 9.pm

Pune's very first attempt at experiencing 'Art for All' with a mission to make this city an art-friendly destination!

Art-a-thon is a week-long festival to celebrate and promote art in all its manifestations; painting, music, dance, literature and various other art forms! The festival will feature a collection of artists, art stalls, creative workshops, demonstrations and art installations.

3rd April onwards: Design Colleges showing off their skills through magnificent Art Installations in the atriums.

6th April: The art flea kicks off in Liberty Square with vibrant art, craft and handmade products on display till the 9th of April.
There will be a storytelling session, a host of other workshops and a performance by Shabdamohini which will be linguistic delight through music.

7th April: There are Terracotta workshops, Bottle Painting workshops, Lippan Art and Gond Art workshops. Evening will feature a play called "Einstein" with Nasseruddin Shah as the lead actor and director.

8th April: Guinness Book of World Records attempt for "Most Contributions to a Handprint Painting in 8 hours" from 1pm to 9pm at the Main Entrance of the mall.
There will be several off-beat dance and music performances by the Tribe Vibe Dance Company, Misree (band) and many other music and dance performances as well as a book launch session the book Think and Win like Dhoni by Sfurti Sahare.

9th April: We will be attempting the Limca Book of Records title for the Largest Painting Party. This attempt will involve more than 1000 people painting on their own individual canvases and can take their own masterpiece home. No experience is necessary to participate in this fun paint party with step-by-step instructions from our instructor and tips and suggestions from the assistants.All supplies will be provided including brushes, paint and canvas.
