Biography : Formed in 2011, Battery Shop is a blend of the discrete and assorted musical taste of its members. The band is heavily influenced by all time classic sounds of bands and artists such as Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Deep Purple, RHCP, Pearl Jam and others to follow.

Coming from a very strong musical background, every member previously played for various bands in Pune and other cities but had to part ways due to personal commitments. The sound of music for this band can be characterized as powerful , with guitars that blast out power chords, pick out chiming riffs, buzz with fuzztone and squeal in feedback.

The band has composed few original numbers in the alternative rock segment. The band believes in being different, constantly innovate and improve the quality of material that Indian music has to offer. The band is currently focusing on playing cover songs of bands like Nirvana, Metallica, RHCP, Deep Purple, Greenday, Pink Floyd etc.
