EVENT FLOW

- Superdry India Live Series :A national DJ contest that will span over 1 month from 15th Nov – 21st Dec, 2013
- There will be 6 regional rounds and 1 final round.
- The regional rounds will be conducted in the following cities: Gurgaon, Mumbai (Kurla), Pune, Chandigarh, Chennai and Delhi. Every round will take place at the SuperdryStore in these cities. Below is the event schedule and the location of the SuperdryStores
- Entries will be sorted into groups based on the cities where regional rounds will take place. For example, if a DJ is from Delhi, he will be categorized in the Delhi group.
- In case, the artist is not from any of the above cities, he/she will be included in the city group that is geographically closest to their hometown. If an artist is from Bengaluru, he will be put in the group for Chennai as it is the city closest to Bengaluru.
- 3 entries will be shortlisted by Superdry from each of the 6 groups to perform in every city
- These shortlisted entries will be announced on the official Superdry India Facebook Page.
- Post selection, the artist will be contacted by Superdry to confirm his / her participation in the Live Series. Entries will be considered accepted only once the confirmation has been received from the artist’s end.
- Every regional round will consist of performances (Duration: 30 minutes per act) by the 3 shortlisted entries for that city at the Superdry Store and one winner will be selected.
- The results will be on the basis of two parameters – Audience votes and jury points
- The jury will consist of an established Indian Electronic Music artist, and Superdry. The decision of the jury will be final and will be announced that day itself.
- One finalist will be selected from every regional round and will go on to participate in the finale at Delhi.
- All finalists will be awarded Rs 25,000 worth of merchandise from Superdry for making it to the Finale.
- 6 finalists from 6 regional rounds will participate in the Finale and perform at the Delhi Superdry Store
- The judging mechanism will be the same and 1 runner up and 1 winner will be announced on the night of the event as well on the Superdry India Facebook Page.
- Both the winners of the Finale will get a year’s worth of merchandise and a chance to open for an international act at the Superdry Delhi Brand Launch Event ( to be held in February, 2014)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

- Every artist who wants to participate must send in their entries to india@superdry.com by 12TH November, 2013 5:00PM
- Every entry should consist of the following
- a music sample in a valid format or a sound cloud link. Duration should be a minimum of 1 minute.
- The number of artists involved in the group if there is more than 1 person
- The name, age , birth-date and city of every artist involved
- The stage name, group name or band name if any for the artist/group.
- All artists must be over 18 years of age to participate
- All decisions will be made at the discretion of Superdry and will be final
- All shortlisted artists will be gifted a Superdry tee which they would be expected to wear during their performance to keep in with the spirit of the entire event.
- Superdry will have the rights to all the content generated at the events. This content will be used by Superdry across their digital and other media channels.
- The artists who cannot make themselves available for the finals at Delhi will forfeit their prize
- Superdry will sponsor the artists’ stay and travel to and from Delhi for the finals
